Dan DeWelt, pictured with Angus Billy Scruggs, shows off his Hall of Fame
Plaque. Scruggs
presented the plaque (dated 2002) to Dan who has been in retirement since
2001. Dan was
the originator of the idea for a Masters World Championship and selected the
first site in 2001-
Fort Smith, Arkansas. Now he's come full circle and won the coveted World
Championship.

Frank Carl bids a fond farewell to all his highland games friends as he prepares

only the one in his home
state, California.

Head judge Steve Conway gives the final instructions to all and gives Angus a

Angus' response: either you keep your hat on or your hose up. Hard
to do both with
only two hands.

Keeping the Sheaf dry became a concern.
