I have tried to picture everyone there but missed some. Anyone with
pictures can send them to me or place them on
the Shutterfly page for the MWC and I'll try to use some of them.
Karyn Dallimore presents Gerry Reynolds and Angus Billy
with rewards for their hard work in putting on the 9th annual Masters World
Championships. Pictured below left is the beautiful and very
meaningful "Thank You" given to Angus for his years of service to the
masters' community of throwers. Gerry, always quiet and in the background
working hard, orchestrated a magnificent event which the athletes will not
likely ever experience again. Karyn, SMAI board member and consumate
supporter of the MWC and athletics in general, put these awards together and
also provided all athletes and games officials with glass medalion momentos of
the games (pictured below right).
The "Wave" was a big item with the Women's 40-49 group at this
year's MWC
Not to be outdone by the athletes' wave ...
